During 1992, I had made that all-important decision to join Triveni. Over the past 32 years, this nurturing environment has empowered me to embrace new challenges, continually affirming the wisdom of my decision.

An Early Defining Experience

One of my most formative experiences while working at Triveni was when I was assigned a high-profile project only a couple of months into my service. Although I had no idea what to expect, it was utterly exhilarating yet terrifying when the seniors entrusted this responsibility to me. With sheer effort put in by my team, a behemoth of a task became an unthinkable success. That experience made me even more confident and instilled in me a deep appreciation for the culture of empowerment and collaboration at Triveni.

Witness to Evolution

I feel fortunate to have seen Triveni grow during my tenure. Operations have grown massively-from sugar to distilleries, power generation, and water treatment-with digital transformation growth. My finance role helped me streamline operations at the Corporate Office with the help of advanced financial software and bringing in automation to the critical accounts department processes. The efficiency has been tremendous, and decision making much easier for the accounts department.

The Motivation to Keep Moving Forward

What motivates me to come to work each day after all these years is the vital role I play in ensuring the company’s financial health and stability. The challenge of solving complex issues related to banking, financials, and statutory obligations keeps me engaged and inspire.

Overcoming Challenges and Celebrating Successes

One of the most challenging times in my career was the implementation of a new financial management system. Our previous system was outdated, leading to inefficiencies and delays. Recognizing the need for improvement, we proposed a shift to a more robust, automated system that could handle our growing transactions and provide real-time financial insights. The project required long hours, intense focus, and constant problem-solving, but the success of the implementation significantly improved our processes and provided the management with better data for strategic decision-making.

Such a focus on transparency and open communication itself breeds trust at each level that our financial goals are being followed through. A Legacy of Mentorship

Mentorship has had a huge impact on my journey at Triveni. I am extremely fortunate to have learned from leaders like Suresh Taneja, Group CFO, and D. Bagchi, VP of Finance & Taxation. Their mentoring had shaped me to be a more complete person during my work life for the benefit of the Company. Since we are among the longstanding employees, we became the bridge for the passage of Triveni from its past to the present and then to the future with the assurance of prosperity through change.
